Tea with G
Each month, “Tea with G” brings together minority students at our college. We have hot tea, cookies, and wonderful discussions. The session provides a platform for minority students to network, learn to work with a mentor, and participate in an educational program called “How to Make Good Grades in College.”
The program examines daily planning and time-management skills, study habits, and note taking — avenues that help students become more successful in college.
Importantly, we meet to share and grow as people. The aim of “Tea with G” is to make better students, better people, and better future employees.
