Annual Security Report
Blue Ridge Community College is responsible for preparing and distributing an Annual Security Report to comply with the Jeanne Clery Disclosure of Campus Security Policy and Crime Statistics Act (Clery Act).
The Annual Security Report is published every year by October 1 and contains three years of selected campus crime statistics and certain campus security policy statements in accordance with the Clery Act.
Emergency Messaging Alert System
Blue Ridge Community College offers an emergency messaging alert system as part of its comprehensive emergency preparedness plan to quickly notify students, faculty and staff of campus emergencies or campus closures via SMS text message, e-mail, voice message or any combination of the three.
Reporting an Emergency
For all campus emergencies, dial 911.
Campus emergencies on the Henderson County Campus should also be reported as they occur to Campus law enforcement:

Campus emergencies on the Transylvania County Campus should also be reported as they occur to the deputy on duty:

Both campuses are patrolled by uniformed law enforcement officers.
Prompt reporting of all incidents or occurrences is encouraged to allow deputies to respond as soon as possible. In addition to completing an internal Incident Report, the College shall contact the proper law enforcement agency, if necessary, to ensure an appropriate response for all reports received. In the event of emergency, danger, injury or criminal activity, the victim/witness is advised to also call the local police, fire or emergency service within the campus jurisdiction.
Reporting a Sexual Harassment/Discrimination Claim
The College is committed to provided and promoting an atmosphere in which students can fully engage in the learning process. Sexual, gender and other unlawful harassment or discrimination as well as sexual violence is prohibited.
